Printed manual was solid

I ordered a printed motorcycle service manual, the one for my Honda, and it arrived in about 6 days. Packaging was fine, no damage. The content was clear, especially the engine rebuild guide, which had helpful diagrams. Using it in the garage was easy, no need to worry about oil on my tablet. My only minor issue was the size, it's pretty thick so finding space for it on the workbench is a little tight.

Good online manual, slow support

I bought an online motorcycle repair manual for my Kawasaki. The manual itself was pretty detailed with good pictures. It really helped with the valve adjustment guide. I had a question about a specific torque spec and it took them almost 2 days to get back to me, which was a bit slow.

Thinking about getting a manual for my old Yamaha, but is Cyclepedia worth it compared to just grabbing a Haynes or Clymer book? I've used those before.

From my experience, Cyclepedia is way more detailed, especially with the pictures. Got one for my Suzuki and it saved me a ton of headache with a tricky engine swap. The step-by-step is super clear.

Yeah, I hear ya on the Haynes/Clymer. They're okay for basic stuff. But Cyclepedia often has better high-res pics and covers more specific models. Plus, you can usually access it online which is handy.
